Obituary for Alex Lee Sadler

Alex Lee Sadler was born June 24, 1992, in Grand Prairie Texas. He died on February 22, 2023, from a fatal motorcycle accident.
He was a resident of Mansfield, Texas but grew up in Arlington, Texas. From an early age, Alex loved sports. The Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars and Washington Capitals were his favorites.
Alex love gaming and spent many hours online with his best friend, Norm Eisengart from Chicago, Illinois.
Alex was a conductor with BNSF and was most recently going back to the railroad with Union Pacific.
He started playing roller hockey at 6 and progressed to ice hockey.
He played ice hockey with many teams over the course of 12 years, including the Ice Jets, DYHA and Martin High School.
He never missed a practice or a game because the ice was his church.
After graduating from Martin High School in 2011, he continued to play hockey with people he knew and met online.
Alex enjoyed golf, fishing and Mexican food.
Alex is survived by his father and mother, Kevin and Becky, his sister and brother-in-law, Samantha and Justin Frank and his Maternal Grandmother, Wanda Eastwood.
Alex is also mourned by his aunts, uncles and cousins, along with his extensive hockey family.
