Obituary for Barbara Diane Brown (Mouser)

Barbara (Diane) Brown, born on October 26, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, to Leonard and Clemmie Mouser, embarked on her final journey on October 15, 2023, with her family by her side. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving a legacy of love and devotion.

Diane's greatest pride and joy in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She reveled in the role of a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother, dedicating her heart and soul to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Clemmie Mouser, her sister, Carol Reeves, and her son, Terry Brown.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Rex Brown of Venus, Texas, her sons Chris Brown and wife Lori of Waxahachie, Texas, Jeff Rorie and wife Michelle of Bismarck, Arkansas, and Rex Brown Jr. Her daughters, Sheila Ramirez of Venus, Texas, and Shelley Ishmael of Venus, Texas, also lovingly remember her.

Diane's legacy extends to her adoring grandchildren, including AJ Escamilla, Angela Escamilla-Feliz, Andrew Hernandez, Eric Johnson, Riley Larson, Diana Boss, Adriana Thomas, Nick Hernandez, Reagan Rorie, and Kalem Rorie. In addition to her grandchildren, she leaves behind 17 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild, all of whom she held close to her heart.

Her memory is further carried by a host of nieces and nephews, whose lives she touched with her love and kindness.

Diane will be remembered for her unwavering love and commitment to her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, as she taught us the value of family, love, and devotion. Diane's warm smile and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed.

The family has planned a visitation on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 6 to 8 in the evening at Midlothian Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Diane's life will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 10 o'clock in the morning at First Baptist Church of Midlothian. Burial will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville, Tx.
