Bobby Joe Davis was born May 26, 1951 in Colorado City, Texas to his late parents, Goldie and AC Davis. He lived until his time of passing on May 24, 2021 at his home in Red Oak, Texas.

Bobby is preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond, Cecil, Melvin, Milton and Larry Davis and his sister, June Odell.

He is survived by his daughter Jacquline Price and husband, Randy of Burleson, Texas, his daughter Cheryl Smith and husband, Tommy Jarrett of Scottsboro, Alabama, his daughter Patricia Davis of Red Oak, Texas, his son Larry Barnes of Alvarado, Texas, his daughter Bobbie Jo Davis of Athens, Alabama, his son Kenneth Morris of Dexter, Kansas, his son Johnny Morris of New Braunfels, Texas, his son Chris Davis and wife, Julia of Gilmer, Texas, his daughter Amanda McDonnell and husband, James of Red Oak, Texas, his daughter, Crystal Bradshaw and husband, Brent of Corpus Christi, Texas, his brother Milton's widow Lynn Davis, many dearly loved nieces, nephews, and countless extended family and friends.

He is also survived by his grandchildren Charles, Austin, Larry, Justin, Dustin, Collin, Johnny Jr., Brayden, Toni, Alyssa, Ashlynn, Natalie, Andrew, Jordan, Zachary, Rory, Bobby, Evan, Aiden, Dakota, Destiny, Brett, Mira, Jayden, Sydney and many great-grandchildren.

Bobby spent many years working in the family roofing business, then over the past 16 years found joy in helping many friends and family doing handyman work.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bobby it will be hard to not see you come thru the gate and the front door any more. Just know we loved you so very much. I loved you before your brother Milton passed but you became the rock to get me thru his death. My advisor, my confidant, my shoulder to cry on, we shared the love of your brother. You are not hurting any more for that I am thankful. In the arms of Jesus now
