Charles Thomas (Tommy or Poppy) Powers was born March 3, 1939 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He went to his heavenly home on Jan 27, 2022 surrounded by his family and friends. He is a graduate of Dallas Crozier Tech High school in 1957 and UT Arlington in 1967 with a business degree. Tommy also served our nation in the Navy from 1957 until he was discharged on his birthday in 1959. He has always been an active and hardworking man with various occupations, the most notably being construction and home building which he loved the most. He will be remembered by his family & friends as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and generous loving friend with an unfiltered sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gail, and two children; son Keven Powers and wife Amy; daughter Julie Moses and husband Johnny; six grandchildren - Jett Johnson, Dawson Powers, Kylie Johnson, Abby Powers, Gracie Powers, and Kamden Moses; sister Helen Blatt; and brother Bobby Powers. He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert & Ruth Powers and sister Margaret.

His legacy of love and devotion will survive for many generations.
