Obituary for Daniel Walter Hubin
Daniel Walter Hubin, 80, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. Dan was born January 23, 1942 to Walter and Florence Hubin in Shell Lake, Wisconsin and graduated from Shell Lake High School in 1960 where he was active in football, basketball and band.
Dan attended UW River Falls for one year and then enlisted in the US Air Force. He spent 20 years serving this nation. Dan married Lynn Davis on April 23, 1977. Dan served on the Shell Lake City Council and the Washburn County Board of Supervisors. He was a 'one line guy' and was happy and good natured. He and Lynn operated Dunk's Art Barn east of Spooner.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife Lynn, parents Walter and Florence Hubin and brothers David, Paul and James.
He is survived by his step-daughters Marcy and Lacy, grandsons Randall, Joseph. Zachary, Kenny, Jackson and Ronen, brother Pete (Betty), sisters-in-law JoAnna and Patricia as well as many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be alongside his wife in Midlothian, Texas.
