Obituary for David Lawrence Frizzell
David Lawrence Frizzell passed away on April 24, 2022 in Arlington, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 29, 1969 in Cleburne, Texas, the second son of Joe and Nancy Frizzell.
In 1987 he graduated from Grand Prairie High School where he was active in sports and the youth choir at First Baptist Church. David was a self taught guitar player and formed a small band with friends in high school and continued to enjoy music the remainder of his life. He enjoyed cooking as a hobby-even developing some of his own recipes-and loved to evaluate restaurants. David was an avid follower of his son’s youth baseball teams and maintained a set of statistics for approximately ten years. After high school David worked with various businesses as a sales associate ending being manager and one of the top salesmen for Levitz Mattress Company.
He is survived by a son, D.J. Frizzell, a daughter, Katie Frizzell, his parents Joe and Nancy Frizzell, two brothers and sister-in-laws Alan and Cydney Frizzell, Barry and Wendy Frizzell, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends including James, Michelle, and Dudley who will miss his company.
