Obituary for Don Nolen Hardy

Don Nolen Hardy
Don Hardy of Midlothian, Texas passed away peacefully on March 2, 2021.

Whenever people think of Don, they remember his integrity, his generosity, his love of people, his willingness to help family, friends, even strangers if ever they were in need and his wicked sense of humor.

Don had a lifelong love of horses. When he wasn't working or spending time with his family, you could find him at the barn, the rodeo or at a calf roping or cutting horse competition.

Don was born in Dimmitt, TX on May 22, 1936 to John and Beatrice Hardy. He later married Joyce, his wife of 62 years. Don eventually worked as a court reporter for the Dallas County Criminal Courts for 30 years. He was known as one of the best court reporters in the "business."

Don is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. He is survived by his wife Joyce, his son John, his grandsons Eric, Taylor and Sam and many longtime friends.
