Obituary for Eddie Jackson Webb

Eddie Jackson Webb was born on November 15, 1933, to William Jackson and Nellie Elizabeth Webb in Milford, Texas. Eddie graduated from Milford High School in May 1952. After high school he joined the Army where he served as a Military Policeman. He was stationed in San Francisco, California. This was the furthest he had traveled from his home in Texas.

Eddie married Linda Faye Boykin on November 15, 1965, yes on his birthday! He had three children from a previous marriage, Sheila, Eddie Charles and Nell. Eddie and Linda went on to have three daughters, Anna, Mary Jo, and Tina. They were married for 56 years. He always worked long hours to support his family. He loved his wife and children; they were his world.

Eddie worked for Associated Milk Producers Inc., AMPI. Where he drove a milk truck to the Midlothian area dairies. He was a member of the Million Mile Club. He retired from truck driving in 1995. He later worked for TXI as a security guard and the Waxahachie Walmart in the Lawn and Garden Center with his wife, Linda and daughter Mary Jo, before finally retiring.

He spent the rest of his days with his beloved wife, Linda. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren: Chris (Micah) Hayes, Justin Carson, Scott Brown II, Linda Hayes (John Grainger), Samantha Brown, and Amanda “Gracie” Brown, great-grandchildren Kale and Cameron, Conner and Jayden, and Paislee and his faithful dog-Sophie. He was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren, great -children, and great great grandchildren.

Eddie passed away on Saturday, April 16 at home. His wife, daughter Tina, and son-in-law Scott were at his side.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nellie Webb; his sister Bobby Rudd; brothers-in-law Alton Chambers, Randall Rudd, Maxie Riley; and his great-grandson Gavin Meyer, whom he is certainly now holding in his loving arms. He is survived by his wife, Linda Webb, and children Anna (Scott) Brown, Mary Jo White and (Wes Simpson); Tina Webb, Sheila (David) Peterson; Eddie Charles Webb, and Nell (James) Shaffer, and many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren.
