Edna was a strong willed woman and though she struggled with health issues for many years, she always pushed through. She loved her cats, Pinky and Clyde, and made the best sweet tea in Texas! She had a big heart and a great sense of humor. She was a genuine person with a “what you saw, is what you got” personality. She was always honest in giving advice, even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear! LOL!

She married the love of her life, Royal R. Owen Jr. on March 29, 1972. They were married for 49 years. They lived in Greenville, TX for over thirty years where they enjoyed raising goats, donkeys and chickens.
Roy retired from the city of Greenville and Edna retired from Raytheon.
Roy preceded her in death on February 18, 2021.

Edna was the youngest of nine siblings and is survived by her brother George McAdoo, sister-n-law Ruthie McAdoo, five step children Linda McGuirk, Roy Owen, Lorri Hill, Julie Loughborough, Amy Barker, seven nieces and eight nephews.

She loved our Lord and was saved by His grace. She will forever be missed by her family and friends and was truly loved by all!
