Fred Joe Sramek, 79, of Midlothian Texas, passed away on January 23 2021. The funeral service will be held at 1PM February 6th at the Midlothian Funeral Home. Fred was born in Rowena Texas on February 23, 1941. Fred was married to his wife Sandra for 58 years. Fred worked as a machinist for Progressive Inc. for 39 years. In his life he enjoyed camping, boating, riding motorcycles, playing with his dogs among other things and working on the farm that he owned with his wife and his son Larry. Being a machinist he knew how to make and fix almost anything and he willingly helped his family and friends to fix whatever they needed. Fred is survived by his wife Sandra, his sons Danny Sramek and his wife Joan of Midlothian Texas, Garry Sramek of Grand Prairie Texas, Larry Sramek of Ennis Texas, David Sramek of Midlothian Texas, his brother Dan Sramek of California, his sisters Ann Jenkins of Arlington Texas and Hellen McDearman of Chattanooga Tennessee, his nieces and nephews, and many longtime friends. Fred is preceded in death by his father and mother Millard and Emilka Sramek.
