Obituary for Georgianna Jacoby

Georgianna Jacoby
Our beloved family matriarch - Georgianna Jacoby - passed from this life on Wednesday, May 19th, in Midlothian, Texas. We have been blessed to have her with us until the age of 100 years and 5 months.

Georgianna grew up and graduated in Lexington, Kentucky. She spent her professional years at General Motors in Detroit, Michigan retiring from there in 1980. She moved back to Lexington to care for her mother until her death and then moved to live with her Texas family.

She is preceded in death by her father Wills Jacoby, mother Ruth Chambers Jacoby, brother Harlan Jacoby, sister Charline Jacoby and sister Betty Skinner and husband Bert. She is survived by Helen Noreen Reinig Jacoby (Wife of Harlan) and 3 generations of nieces and nephews who loved and adored her!

She always said she would live to 100 and that she did! Not surprising because once she put her mind to something it was done. Her spirit of kindness and love for others and her strength as a child of God has passed to all that knew her. She will be celebrated here on Earth until we are together again.

The family would like to thank Ed and Candy Loveland for the friendship and love they have shown Auntie. Randy Hampton at Midlothian Funeral Home for coming to our aid without question. Also Midlothian Health Care - her home for the last 22 months. To her aid, confident and primary caregiver, Amy Garcia, we will always love you and be in your debt for the love, kindness and respect you showed our Aunt. She loved you like her own and you will always be part of this family.
