Obituary for Glenn Moss

Glenn Moss was born at home in Spur, TX to Sarah and Grady Moss. He was the youngest of their five children. He learned the value of a strong work ethic at his family’s farm from a young age. Later, his friendly nature led him into sales and he founded a successful small business, Glenn Moss Advertising, catering to the oil field sector in West Texas. He met the love of his life, Beverly Hampton White, and they married in 1977. They were inseparable and worked together for many decades. Glenn “Papa” enjoyed the company of his grand and great-grandchildren. He liked dominos, two- step dancing and a good chicken fried steak too. His humor brought joy to his family and friends. Glenn loved to volunteer as a church greeter. He was a member of First Baptist in Odessa, Conroe Baptist in Conroe and Woodlawn Baptist in Austin. His faith in God was strong and a source of comfort after the death of his beloved. Glenn loved in a quiet way, by always being there and showing up without a request. He was an example of the holy scripture: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” He will be missed.
