Obituary for Jenny Lynn Kuykendall

Jenny Lynn  Kuykendall
Jenny Lynn Kuykendall was born in Waco, TX on September 13, 1953 to Robert and Norma Emerson. She married her high school sweetheart, Sid Kuykendall,and they were happily married for 46 years.


Lynn’s involvement in FHA led her to become a national officer in high school. She was also a majorette for her entire high school career, graduating from Midlothian High School in 1971.


Upon graduating from high school Lynn continued to pursue her passions by earning a degree in Home Economics from Baylor University. She then returned to her hometown to teach in MISD for over 20 years.


Lynn not only loved educating children, but being a loving, supportive mother to her own children. Attending all sporting events, activities and cattle shows to be sure their coach and Dad wasn’t being too hard on her babies.


Another joy in her life was being a proud Nana to her amazing grandkids. Her love and admiration for each of them is a memory they will always cherish.


Lynn is survived by husband Sid; her children; Tracey McCellon and spouse Kevin, John Kuykendall and spouse Jamie, Nicole Lowe and spouse Aaron, Cody Kuykendall and spouse Page; grandchildren, Kirstie and Preston McCellon, Camryn and Logan Ray, Sidney Kuykendall, Presley and Cordell Lowe, and Emerson and Carson Kuykendall; great grandchildren, Wesley, Jr. and Alice Young; her siblings, Bobby (and wife Keri), Steve (and wife Sherry), numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Norma Emerson; and her son Clint Kuykendall.
