Jesse grew up in Midlothian and attended Midlothian High School. He remained in the area all his life. He had many friends and loved ones and each of Jesse’s friends held a special place in his heart. Jesse was caring, loving, hardworking and a true gentleman. He was a giver and if he had it to give, he would in a heartbeat.

Some of Jesse’s favorite things were grilling, fishing, tattoos and time spent with his family and/or children. He also enjoyed trying different restaurants. Jesse spent the last 8 years working for and helping run the Ark County Stores in Midlothian and Waxahachie.

After many years of friendship, Jesse married the love of his life – Amy in September 2019. Together, they have a blended family of 5 children: Hannah, JP, Jaci, David, and Keith.

He was survived by his mother, Nora Higgins and 3 siblings – Cyndi, Sandra and Paul. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Higgins.
