Obituary for John Edward Evans
John E Evans, of Midlothian, Texas, a loving husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the age of 68. He was fun-loving, adventurous, and always ready to lend a hand.
He leaves behind his wife, Laura, daughter Kathryn Evans and her husband Shahyan Jahani of Dallas, son Andrew Evans of Salt Lake City, and brother Richard Evans and his wife Cindi of Savannah, Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Richard and Betty Evans.
John graduated from Bedford High School in Bedford, Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University where he graduated with a business degree and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. He spent most of his professional career with ABF Freight Systems and retired as Vice President of Sales working out of Dallas, Texas.
John leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor. He truly brought life to the party! To know John was to love him. He touched many people in many ways and was always willing to help his family and friends. If you were in the same room with him, you knew there would be plenty of laughter. He enjoyed working on projects around the house, entertaining friends and family, and traveling. He left this world "with his boots on" and will always be remembered for his dedication and commitment to those who loved him.
