John ‘Preston’ Staggs , Jr. was born on September 14, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas and entered into rest on February 7, 2022. Preston is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. During life, Preston served his church, his nation, and his family to set an example for others.  He enjoyed traveling alongside his wife Cyndi, while for work and pleasure they traveled together many roads across the United States. Preston was an avid fisherman and you could find him along the banks of a river or lake at any given time of the year.

  Those left behind to cherish his memory are wife Cyndi Staggs, daughter Melissa Tennery and husband Jim.  He loved dearly his grandchildren Colin Tennery and wife Stephanie, Conner Tennery and wife Leah and great-grandchildren Preston, Kyle and McKenna.

While the family mourns their loss, they rejoice that Preston has gone home to be with his Lord. 
A memorial and celebration of life service are at Oak Crest Baptist Church, Midlothian, Texas.
