I first met Karen at a Red Robin Gymnasium, near Arlington, Texas. I was married and pregnant with my Eric Daniel Miller, 3 months along. I was teaching aerobic fitness and Karen came up to me and introduced herself to me, and told me how she loved the workout I coached. That was the beginning of a life long friendship that would carry me through extremely troublesome times in my marriage. She and I loved to go shopping, eat out, work out, and go to movies. We loved our movie time together. We loved singing together for our Friday or Saturday night kareoke. She had a beautiful voice and loved her Elvis songs. She loved my children. She would brag about my Michael who could create music on her piano in her home. She was so impressed with his raw talent. He was only about 13. When I was having alot of trouble in my marriage, she would come over and bring her boyfriend and we would eat together and play cards. She was there to figure out what I was so devastated with in my marriage. You talk about a fierce warrior! She was my right and left guard. When I became very ill, and was losing a tremendous amount of sleep, she would pop over on her lunch break, from work, and bring me food. She would send me cards as well. She never stopped looking out for me, when I was at my most vulnerable. I thank God for my best friend, Karen Kaye for being there, my angel warrior, when I could not hold myself up. I did get better and moved on, from that devastating marriage and moved to Everman, near Fort Worth, where Karen and I would continue our Friday or Saturday night girls' night out. I will never forget our time together with my son Nathan at the beach, summer 2012. She was constantly working, even on her phone, but still made time for me and my son. It was a privilege and pleasure to bring my massage table to her home one year, as a new therapist. She raved about her massage from me and inspired me to continue with that line of work. She wanted me to move back to the Midlothian area and work for Tammy in her salon. She was a radiant light and I will continue to stay fit in her honor and keep up my massage practice in her honor. I LOVE YOU KAREN KAYE!!! Thank you for teaching us that FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST is the only answer in this life and the life to come! I celebrate my faith in the Almighty God, with the empty tomb of Jesus Christ, as well as the Lion. Karen was a lioness of the Most High God!!! I see her on a much needed vacation in Paradise. Love always In this life and in the one to come, Margaret Catherine Lazenberry (Cathy)
