Larry Don Birge, 78, of Wichita Falls went to be with the Lord on August 19th, 2022, in Midlothian surrounded by his family where he has been residing since February. He had been battling Leukemia for the last year.
Larry graduated from Wichita Falls High School and served in the army reserves. Larry and Linda were married in August of 1968 and this month celebrated 54 years of marriage. He worked for his father at Birge Motor Co. and Birge Oil Co. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, landscaping and spending time with his family. Larry cherished spending time with his granddaughter and loved telling stories of things he and her did together.
Larry was preceded by his parents Donald and Mary Birge, and survived by his wife Linda, son Landon and his wife Karen, and his granddaughter Emily Kate. His sister Marilyn Willis, her husband Johnny and nieces, nephews, and friends. The family has requested a celebration of life to be held in Larry's honor at the Midlothian Funeral Home 200 E Ave East, Midlothian, TX 76065.
We invite all of Larry's loved ones and friends to join us on Wednesday, August 24th at 2:00pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm. After the funeral, Larry will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Midlothian. Larry will be dearly missed and always remembered.
