Obituary for Laura Suzanne Tomison

Laura Suzanne Tomison, loving wife and mother, passed away February 11, 2022 at the age of 53 surrounded by her family at home.

Born in Texas July 7, 1968 to Charles and Kathleen Tomison, she grew up in the Fort Worth area, the youngest of her two sisters, Lisa and Anita.

After moving locations much throughout her early life, some years after her mother was remarried to Eddie Sikes, they moved to Cedar Hill, Texas with her stepbrother and stepsister, Kenneth and Tina. There she graduated high school May 1986 as a skilled flautist in the Cedar Hill Long Horn Band.

As an Adult, when she wasn't attending Journey concerts with her two best friends, Melody and Cassie, Laura was working hard to support her two children, Brent and Brandon, born October 8, 1993, and March 5, 1996. She and her soul mate, Randolph Henderson became husband and wife officially March 2021, and though they shared the title for only a brief period of time, they were together over the years through the best and worst in each other's lives. He cared for her through her short, yet hard-fought battle with cancer.

Laura is survived by her husband, two children, parents, stepmother, Glenda, two sisters, and stepsister, two grandchildren, and eight neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Kenneth "Bubba" Sikes November 13, 2001.
