LaWana Catalan, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, went to her Heavenly home on the morning of December 31, 2020. Lawana was 74 years old and was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Virginia Neering and her son Derrick Guevara. She is survived by sisters Darlene, Frances, pat and brother Lewis, her 3 sons, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Lawana moved to Midlothian, Texas from Las Vegas, Nevada 9 years where she enjoyed spending her las years reading her favorite author's, playing games on her computer, listening to Mexican and Native American music, going to Indian Pow Wows, and eating her favorite Chile Rellenos from Casa Jacaranda.
