Obituary for Leo A "Junior" Sulak

Leo Sulak Jr passed away from cancer on January 30, 2021. One day after his 44th wedding anniversary to his wife Christa Sulak. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 27, 1951 at All Saints Hospital. He attended Madison High School in Houston, Texas where he played football and ran track. He met his loving wife, Christa, at Tuxedo School Pictures in Houston, Texas. In 1977, he and Christa moved to Cedar Hill, Texas following his family for better job opportunities. On March 4, 1978 he opened the restaurant of his dreams, Juniors BBQ! He was able to connect with many through his restaurant. He raised three beautiful daughters: Teresa, Jennifer, and Tiffany. He also had four grandchildren: Kaleigh, Trenton, Kelsey, and Austin. He was a hero to many, and always willing to help anyone at any time. He shared immense compassion for all his employees. He gave back to his community and was always in support of RED OAK POLICE DEPARTMENT, firefighters, and local sports teams. Jr is preceded in death by his father, Leo Sulak Sr., his sister-in-law, Kristi Sulak, and baby brother, Eddie Ray Sulak.
