Obituary for Leroy Odell Huff
Leroy Odell Huff ascended to Heaven October 4, 2021, at age 78. Leroy was born to Lydia Viola (Walker) and John Huff in Ft. Worth, TX on July 20, 1943. Leroy married Nancy Ruth Whitley on July 28, 1962. Leroy is survived by Nancy, his wife of 59 years and their three children and families. Steve and Jennifer Huff of Midlothian, Scott Huff of Dallas and Susan and Eddie Braley of Frisco, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Leroy attended The Outdoorsman Church in Midlothian.
Leroy was first and foremost a family man. He loved his family and the bigger it became, the happier he was.
Leroy was always a hard-working man. He started working at age 12 and never stopped. He retired as a well-known custom home builder in Ellis County after 50 years. After his retirement he joined the Board of Directors of HILCO Electric Coop serving for 11 years until his death.
He loved classic cars and was very proud of all his trophies. He was a little competitive and always let us know his latest win!
A memorial service will be held at Midlothian Funeral Home on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 1pm to honor Leroy and celebrate his life.
