Obituary for Margaret Oleta Cooper (Blevins)

Oleta was born in Keller, Tx on May 27, 1935. She passed away in her home in Midlothian on May 10, 2021.

On July 26, 1955 Jim and Oleta were joined in matrimony and shared almost 66 years of love, hardship and everything in between while raising three beautiful children. Oleta treasured her family and loved traveling, camping and doing a little fishing. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams which were her children and grandchildren. She and Jim tried hard to never miss a game and often could be heard over all the other fans rooting for their favorite players. She never turned down a good plate of Mexican food or good batch of fried catfish. When she was at home, she could be found engrossed in a word find puzzle while snacking on some Cheetos. When she needed a break from everything else, she and Jim could be found at Choctaw casino winning and/or losing their well-earned retirement money. It could be said that she truly lived life to the fullest!

Oleta is survived by her loving husband, Jim Cooper, daughter Pat Bowers and husband Greg, daughter Ranea Elliott and husband Mike, James Cooper and wife Donie. Her legacy will further be carried on by her grandchildren Cody Salmon and wife Lyndsey, Tonya Walker and husband James, Leah Mclarry and husband Jake, Michael Elliott and wife Kelsey, Jimbob Cooper and wife Lisa, Emily Merton and husband Derek, Thomas Cooper, Chelsey Elliott and husband Casey, Taylor Cooper and wife Bettyna and Clayton Cooper. Out of these grandchildren 20 great grand children were born. There are multiple nieces and nephews and loved ones too numerous to mention.
