Mary Ellen Crowe, 94, of Midlothian passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022, at Buffalo Creek Memory Care. Mary was born on November 7,1928 in Highlands New York. She met the love of her life, Jack Crowe, while he was stationed at West Point. Their love took Mary to Texas where they married and established their home. Mary, aka Nanny, was a loving, caring and selfless lady. She enjoyed making her family-recipe spaghetti sauce, crossword puzzles, collecting precious moments figurines and oil painting. Painting brought joy to her and everyone who saw her works of art. One of her most cherished achievements was winning 1st and 2nd places at the State Fair with her paintings. She held “Nanny Camp” for her grandkids each summer where awesome memories were made. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her 3 children: Pat Crowe and wife, Reta, Steve Crowe and wife, Leisha, Laurie Austin and husband, Terry. Her brother, Pat Duffy and wife RuthAnn. Her grandchildren: Travis,Lindsey, Emily, Katie, Stefanie and Cris. Her Great-Grandchildren: Gracie, Tommy, Wayden, Bryka, Rypp, Brynlee, Storie, Audrey, Haley, Savannah and Rhett.
