Mary Ann (Mulkern) Vignaux passed away on February 5, 2021 from cancer. She was born on May 6, 1956 to Mary (McDonagh) Mulkern and Michael Mulkern in Norwood Massachusetts. She was the oldest of 10 children and, after the death of her father when she was 12 years old, Mary Ann helped her mother in the care of her 9 brothers and sisters. She graduated from Norwood High School and Attended the Pondville Licensed Practical Nursing program. As an LPN she started employment at the then West Roxbury V.A. Hospital in 1977 and transferred to the then Dallas V.A. Hospital in 1996. For over 42 years she lovingly cared for Veterans with Spinal Cord Injuries, Multiple Sclerosis and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. She retired in 2019. Mary loved vacationing (most always with all of her family that she could round up) at Loyd Park in Grand Prairie TX, Jellystone Park in Burleson TX, Turner Falls Oklahoma, Nantasket Beach in Massachusetts and Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. She loved cooking big fabulous meals and major holidays in Texas were attended by a full house of family and close friends. She was loved and will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her father Michael Mulkern and her brother John Mulkern. She is survived by Richard Vignaux: her husband of 43 years. Her children Michael, Maureen, Patricia Vignaux (and Keith Ward), and Catherine Vignaux (and Brandon Curry), all of Midlothian TX Her Grandchildren Eamon, Keiran, and Finn Vignaux-Curry; Kessler Jones-Kenny, and Jolie Vignaux, all of Midlothian TX Her Siblings Eileen Zoppo (and Robert) of Londonderry New Hampshire Patricia Morris (and Louis) of East Machias Maine Sister—in—law Johanna Mulkern of Norwood Massachusetts Michael Mulkern (and Beth Ann Knowles) of Milford Massachusetts Theresa Mulkern of Norwood Massachusetts Catherine LaFrazia of Norwood Massachusetts Nancy Dittmeier (and Terrance) of Norwood Massachusetts Kevin Mulkern (and Keri Jewkes) of Mansfield Massachusetts And Christine (Tina) Long (and Charles) of Norwood Massachusetts Mary Ann is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.
