Obituary for Michael Douglas Lunday

Mike was a man of good character with an amazing heart that made him a dedicated family man. He was always helping others when he saw or felt they were in need. He was a man of his word and you could count on him whenever you needed him. He was a great husband, son, father and friend. There was never a stranger or family member that he couldn’t carry on a conversation with. He loved to talk and connect with others and make new friends. He had a passion for fishing, camping and trying to be the best he could be. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. Mike was born to Michael and Patsy on August 8th, 1975 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas and currently resided in Ferris, Texas. He is survived by his wife Christy Lunday. His children, Michael Douglas Lunday, Jr., Brianna Lunday, Crystal, Austin, and Ty. Grandchildren, Savanna, Cooper, Paisley, and Cora. His mother Patsy Wilkins and her husband Charles Wilkins. His father Michael Wayne Lunday and Artie. His father in law Robert Harker and wife Sue. His brothers, Nathan Lunday and his wife Erin, Robert Wilkins and his wife Christy, Charles “Chuck” Wilkins, Jamie Ashcraft and his wife Rosa, Tommy Lowder, Johnny Lowder, and Tommy Grubbs.
