Obituary for Rebecca "Becky" Simmons Corbin (Simmons)

Rebecca Simmons Corbin has been called home to stand beside the Lord on 6/8/2021. Becky was born on 11/22/1947 in Fort Worth, Texas where she graduated from Paschall High School in 1964, then attended Tarleton State University for 2 years. She was a long time resident of Midlothian where she worked very hard to raise her two children, most of the time holding down multiple jobs. In November of 1992 she married Weldon Roger Corbin. In 1994 they opened a feed store in town called Ranchers Supply which was sold in 2004. In retirement, both Becky and Roger were very active and involved with multiple Cowboy Churches in the community.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, LA “Pete” Simmons, her mother, Mary Gardner Simmons, and her stepdaughter Sheri Fearis. She is survived by her husband Roger. Her two children Trey Sweatt and Scott Sweatt, her stepson Mason Corbin; and her grandchildren: Ryan Sweatt, Garrett Mayo, Cami Eytcheson, Garrison Fearis, Galen Fearis, Preston Corbin, Taylor Corbin.
