Rita Marie Claus, 73, of Midlothian Texas, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2022. She was born December 5, 1948 to Oscar J. Cora and Henrietta Cora in Canton, Ohio. Rita graduated from Canton South High School in 1966. In March 29, 1968 she married her husband Richard Claus, together they had 3 children.

Rita is survived by her loving husband, Richard L Claus, son, Michael Claus and Daughter -In-Law Amy; daughter, Stephanie New and Son-In-Law Greg; grandchildren, Alexander Claus, Cierra Limberg; Amada Claus; Michael Claus Jr.; Dustin Claus; Dalton Claus; Mason New; great-grandchildren, Beckett Limberg; Declan Limberg; Parker Murray and Gryffin Claus. Siblings, Tony Cora; Louise Sizemore and Danny Cora as well as many other family members and beloved pets.

Preceded in death by her father, Oscar J. Cora; mother Henrietta Cora; son, Richard L Claus Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law Claude and Mildred Claus.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Faith Bible Church Desoto, 1437 Pleasant Run Rd. Desoto, TX.
