Sergeant First Class Robert Frank Nordel was born in San Francisco, California on January 31, 1935 and passed away April 6, 2021 at the age of 86. He was preceded in death by his wife Zelma and Great Grandson Noah. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Judy and Ron Heitman, Granddaughter Mendi McMahan (Ron), Grandson Michael Heitman (Emily), Great Grandsons Jake McMahan, Evan Heitman and Great Granddaughter Alexa Heitman. Bob spent many years serving our country in the Army until his retirement in 1994. In his retirement years he loved skeet shooting, fishing and hunting. “Papa Bob”, as he was known by his family, will be greatly missed.
