He was married to Deborah Clark Keyes for 39 years, 8 months and 19 days. He was sad he wouldn't be able to make it to our 40th anniversary.

He served in the Navy and did 2 tours on the ground in Vietnam. He also flew and was the radio operator on the P-3 Naval Reconnaissance. If you ask him how long he was in the military, he quickly told you 2 years, 8 months and 4 days. Rodger will be laid to rest at DFW National Cemetery at a later date.

After retiring from sales, he started his own small construction company and made many friends.
He called it his paper route and it was his weekly mission to go see everyone he could.

The long-lasting impact that he made on friends, the organizations he joined, co-workers and especially the youth in his church was an incomparable example to many.

in lieu flowers, Rodger would have liked donations to Food 4 Kids, First Methodist Church. It was one of his passions. https://fumcmidlo.churchcenter.com/giving
