Ruby Adell Price Irwin was born on March 25, 1941 in Buffalo Gap, Texas to Howard Gilbert Price and Matty Pearl McCarty. She went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2021. She grew up and attended school in Borger, Texas, and this is where she met her lifelong friend Charlotte Davis. She married young and was the Mother of 3 children. Coy, Vickie, and Todd. She married the love of her life, Bill Irwin on July 27, 1979.

Living in several locations, they shared a life of devotion to each other. Ruby was a great caregiver. Caring for the comfort of others was a gift she shared well. Family dinners, loving her children and grandchildren. She cared for the well-being of all. She was easy to talk to, and shared wisdom to those who asked. Before illness and age struck her life, she and Bill supported the ministry of Charles Stanley, First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Listened to his sermons, and teaching from the Bible. Followed the Lord. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She loved the Lord, her husband Bill and her family.

She is survived by; Coy and wife Lisa Rountree, Vickie and husband Dale Cheek, and Todd Rountree, and step daughter, Connie Irwin Fulkerson. Loved by all who knew her she is also survived by 12 Grandchildren as well as 17 Great Grandchildren.
