Sara Elizabeth Cantu of Arlington, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2020. Born on January 31, 1995 to Martin Cantu and Kimberly Ann Crotts. Sara was Martin’s youngest child of 2 daughters born to Kimberly. As a child, Sara was energetic and inquisitive and lit up every room. She graduated from Midlothian High School. In adulthood, Sara was fiercely independent and known among many as supportive and loving. Known lovingly as “Thetha” to some of her closest family members, Sara loved to be goofy and was vivacious and fun-loving. Some of her favorite activities included reading, listening to music, and sharing conversations and laughter with those she loved. She had a natural ability to make others feel accepted without judgment, leaving behind a true legacy of kindness. Sara was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. Sara is preceded in death by her mother, Kimberly Ann Crotts, and her paternal grandfather: David R. Cantu. Sara is survived by her father: Martin Cantu, her sister: Amanda Parson, her niece and nephew: Lilly and Logan Indejejczak, her paternal grandmother: Alejandra Cantu, her maternal grandparents: Douglas and Nancy Crotts, her aunts and uncles: David and Kimberly Cantu, Lucinda and Tony Ramos, Laura Cantu, Eduardo Cantu, and Kenneth and Tammi Meredith. She also leaves behind numerous extended family, with whom she shared so much love. Sara’s light will be missed every day. Her loved ones take comfort in her heavenly reunion and in the knowledge that she is in the arms of our Heavenly Father eternally.
