Stella Louise (Sewell) Morris, beloved wife, mother, and “Nana”, ended her valiant twelve-month battle against cancer on October 19, 2020. Stella fought relentlessly and with humor and grace. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing that she is safe, whole, radiant and healed by her heavenly Father. The following text, taken from an English paper prepared by an eighteen year old Stella Sewell, perfectly captures Stella’s life view: “My faith in God cannot be denied. I have seen His mercy and goodness, and I have known His power. He has given me the strength and courage for my life. Everything I have was given to me by Him. I have had a happy life; my wish is that I may always do my best to please my Savior. I leave things in God’s hands. He has done well thus far.” The family of Stella Morris will receive friends (Visitation) from 1-2pm on Thursday, October 22, 2020, followed by a Memorial Service officiated by the Reverend Belinda Blessen. Stella was born on July 4, 1942, in Shamrock, TX, to Haskell and Nona Sewell. Stella is survived by husband Robert L. Morris; daughters Angie and Lana Magers; daughter Kelly Morris Ceritelli and husband Michael; son John R. Morris; brother Bill Sewell; and grandchildren Addison, Kara and Nicholas Ceritelli. in lieu of flowers please donate to Citychurch McKinney: https://www.citychurchmckinney.com/Donate
