Terry Ray Steel of Cedar Hill, TX was born August 29, 1958 and passed away August 18, 2022 at the age of 63. Terry retired in 2010 from a 30-year career with AT&T. While working at AT&T, Terry met the love of his life, Linda. They would have been married 40 years this December. Terry is survived by his wife, Linda Steel of Cedar Hill, TX and children, Stephanie Kimbell, husband Josh of Midlothian, TX and Tony Steel, wife Jenni of Midlothian, TX. Grandchildren Wesley Kimbell, Addison Steel and Landry Steel. Mom, Pat Surles of Johnston, Iowa. Siblings, Sheri Rowland, Kim Johnson, Kelly Hilton, Walter Malone, Michael Malone, Stacie Bridges, and Cynthia Simpson.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Imagene Steel of Elk City, OK and father, Bob Surles of Johnston, Iowa.

Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to so many. Over the past few years, Terry connected with his family in Iowa and they formed an instant special bond. Terry loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his grandchildren. He loved baseball and football, but learned to love soccer while watching his three grandchildren play.
