Obituary for Tobie Elaine Duffee (Knight)

Tobie Elaine (Knight) Duffee entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2021. Tobie was born on May 15, 1966, in Dallas, Texas. She will be forever missed by all that knew her, but Tobie knew Jesus Christ as her Savior and has a home in Heaven with Him.

She found the love of her life, Steve Duffee, while attending Cedar Hill High School and married him on August 2, 1985. They welcomed their 2 children, Lauren and Stevie. She dedicated her life to raising her children. One of the most joyous days of her life is when she became a grandmother. She was lovingly called Mammy by her grandchildren, Addy and Rhett.

Her smile lit up every room she entered and her kindness blessed each person she met. Something that brought her great happiness was giving to others, whether it was cooking a special meal, giving a gift, or being a friend to lean on. She was blessed by the gifts of mercy and grace. Tobie constantly made it a point to check in on people and was always a source of positivity. She will forever be remembered for her selfless love and compassion.

Tobie joins her parents, Charles Leroy and Betty Knight, and other precious family members in Heaven. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 36 years, Steve, daughter, Lauren Benner (husband Chad), and son, Stevie Duffee, grandchildren, Adelyn and Rhett Benner, sister Brenda Segovia (husband Louie), sister Elizabeth Adams (husband Edsel), brother Johnny Knight (wife Linda), brother Roy Knight (wife Sherry), and sister Kathy Foster (husband James), mother in law, Jean Barnes, brother-in-laws Ronnie Duffee (wife Wanett) and David Duffee (wife Janet), and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
