Obituary for Trena Mayfield

Trena L. Mayfield, 65, of Midlothian, TX passed away on April 30, 2021 at her home after a four-year battle with cancer. Visitation with the family to celebrate her life will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at Midlothian Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm.
Trena was born in Pampa, TX on February 27, 1956, daughter of the late Volney and Frances (Rutherford) Day. She was a 1974 graduate of Eastland High School prior to receiving her teaching certificate from McMurry University majoring in Art with a minor in History.

Trena had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh and was loved by all. She loved all her animals, being at the lake, and vacationing in Colorado. Her greatest blessings were her grandchildren.

Trena worked as a regional marketing manager for Manheim Auctions for 27 years before retiring to enjoy traveling with her husband, working with him in their family owned businesses and spending as much time with her grandchildren as possible.

Survivors include her husband, Stan Mayfield of Midlothian, TX; her children Kris Stansell and his wife Chea of Waxahachie, TX, Marie Andrle and her husband Mike of Midlothian, TX, and Amanda Perdue and her husband Mike of Maypearl, TX; sister Kaye Smith and husband John; grandchildren, Whitney and Jessica Stansell, Hailey, Katelynn and Sarah Andrle, Bailey Hinson, Evah Mayfield, Maci and Case Perdue; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
