Obituary for Vicky Sue Moffeit (Ruckman)

She entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Vicky was born on March 17, 1962 in Council Bluffs, IA. She will be forever missed by all that knew her, but Vicky knew Jesus Christ as her Savior & has a home in Heaven with him.
Vicky loved to bake & create lasting family memories. She especially loved gathering the fruits of the family garden. Her love of reading & literature never wavered. She remained an avid fan of Iowa Hawkeyes, even after transplanting to Dallas. She was incredibly proud of her Lakota heritage & was actively contributing to bettering the Pine Ridge Reservation in any way she could. Vicky was a loyal employee of the Federal Reserve System for over 30 years & had some serious computer skills, unlike any other.
She found the love of her life, (Rodney) after moving to Dallas. They shared many wonderful years together raising their two children: Katrina & Kyle. Vicky dedicated her life to her family. One of the most joyous of her life is when she became a grandmother.
Vicky joins her brother Gary & other precious family members in Heaven. She will be lovingly missed & remembered. She leaves behind her parents; George & Betty, siblings; Susan, Jeff, & Teresa, her husband; Rodney, daughter; Katrina, son; Kyle & wife; Star, grandchildren: Maribel & George, her loving dog Lakota, & extensive family stretching across many states. Vicky’s love & devotion to her Catholic faith was unyielding. She was an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. May we always remember her kindness, love, & support that she valued so dearly.
