Charles Griffith Odgers Sr. (Charlie) was born in Frostburg Maryland in 1935. He passed away September 16, 2021. Charlie became a Texan in 1945 at age 10. He graduated from Sunset High School in 1953 then obtained a Business Degree from the University of North Texas. Charlie served two years in the US Army, four years in the Air Force Reserves and was a Korean Veteran. He then began a career as an insurance agent for over fifty years and was still active at the time of his death. He was also a Master Mason of over fifty years receiving his 50 year Master Mason pin in 2006, and was a current member of Midlothian Lodge 584. Charlie proudly served as Deacon and Elder at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Ovilla, Texas.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gladys Odgers of Dallas Texas and his first wife Alice Jones Odgers of Jacksboro, Texas.

Leaving behind to morn his passing is his loving wife of 54 years, Marguerite Odgers, his sister Shirley Odgers of Dallas and the (Magnificent Seven). Daughters Teri Arnecke and Husband Doug Burns of Fredericksburg Texas, Laura Odgers Mitchell of Waxahachie Texas, and sons Rick Arnecke and wife LaDonna of Lorena Texas, Duane Arnecke of Midlothian Texas, Charles (Griff) Odgers Jr. and wife Becky of Midlothian Texas, Blake Odgers and wife Tammy of Maypearl Texas, Drake Odgers of Red Oak Texas, as well as 16 Grand Children, 17 great grandchildren and Nephew Robby White and wife Julie of Houston Texas.
